Noel and Liam Gallagher received a warm reception at the Venice Film Festival as their Oasis documentary Don’t Look Back in Anger premiered to an extended standing ovation. During the screening event, the audience applauded for around eight minutes while the brothers stood together and acknowledged the response.
The Venice premiere also produced a notable moment between the Gallaghers. Liam raised Noel’s hand as the pair faced the crowd, adding another public display of unity following the Oasis reunion. Their appearance comes after years of tension between the brothers and the band’s return to the stage in 2025.
The documentary looks back at the reunion period and follows Oasis as the group prepared for and performed its comeback shows. It includes behind-the-scenes material, rehearsals, live performances, and footage focused on the relationship between Noel and Liam.
